Rotronic Hygro Palm HP23 Humidity Temperature Handheld Indicator

The HP23 is a multi-function hand-held indicator that can read the data from up to two HygroClip 2 probes and display relative humidity, temperature and a calculated parameter such as the dew or frost point. Any probe input can also be configured by the user to accept a third party analog probe (restrictions apply).
Selecting the appropriate HygroClip 2 probe for the HP23 is done based on the application. Depending on the probe, the measuring range is within 0 to 100 %RH and -100 to 200°C (-148 to 392°F). The HygroClip 2 probes feature durable sensors, consistent performance and can be hot-swapped to facilitate routine maintenance.
The HP23 indicator has an extensive set of settings and functions that can be enabled and configured by the user either directly from the keypad or with the ROTRONIC HW4 software. In spite of its sophistication, the HP23 can still be used just as a simple humidity and temperature indicator. Whether you decide or not to take advantage of its full potential, the HP23 will let you have it your way.
• Two configurable inputs for HygroClip 2 interchangeable probe - up to 5 m/16.4 ft extension cable
• Measures relative humidity & temperature
• Calculates dew point, frost point, wet-bulb temperature, mixing ratio, etc.
• Any input can be configured to read a 1-channel analog probe (barometric pressure, air velocity)
• 0 to 100 %RH and -100 to 200 °C (-148 to 392 °F) - depending on probe model
• Accuracy at 23 °C: ± 0.8 %RH and ± 0.1 °C
• Temperature unit (°C or °F) selectable from the keypad
• Uses a regular 9V alkaline battery
• LC display with backlight
HP23 Special features:
• Real time clock (date and time)
• Manual data capture directly from the keypad to any of eight user named data bins, each capable of retaining up to 250 humidity and temperature values measured by a HygroClip 2 probe. The captured data can be either viewed on the display or downloaded to a PC with the HW4 software.
• Data logging - automatic recording of up to 20,000 single values or 10,000 relative humidity and temperature value pairs. The HW4 software is required to download and view the data.
• Calibrator function: One-point or multi-point humidity or temperature adjustment directly from the keypad against either a reference probe connected to the HP23 or a reference environment. The HP23 can be used to adjust any HygroClip 2 probe, the HF3, HF4, HF6 and HF7 transmitters, the HP21 indicator and any other AirChip 3000 product that has a non removable probe or sensors.
• Delta Probe Mode: displays the difference between two probes of the same type.
