Description: In this course you will be introduced to GE Fanuc’s Programmable Controllers. You will learn GE Fanuc’s series of PLC systems and configuration with Machine Edition software, including how it works and how to maintain it.

What Tasks Will Be Taught in This Class?
Upon completion of this Course, the student will be able to:
- Describe the function, operation and components of a PLC.
- Describe the operation of a basic GE Fanuc PLC system.
- Describe the major functions of each I/O and optional module in a GE Fanuc PLC system.
- Configure a standard GE Fanuc PLC System with Machine Edition software
- Load, store monitor and print out an existing ladder program.
- Explain the function of Relay type instructions.
- Insert and edit a rung of logic containing Relay instructions in a GE Fanuc PLC.
- Interpret the meanings of diagnostic indicators and I/O faults.
- Use the Search, Force and Override functions of Machine Edition.
